Iusora Terms of Service

Iusora is operated by Floor No. 8 SRL (Romania), a Romanian limited liability company domiciled at București, Sector 1, EU.

1. Plain-language summary

You can use Iusora to retrieve and analyze public patent information using multi-vendor LLM quorum. Iusora is a tool, not legal advice. We don't sell your data. You can export and delete your work at any time. We bill monthly and you can cancel any time.

2. What Iusora is and isn't

Iusora assists patent attorneys, IP counsel, R&D engineers, and academic researchers in finding and mapping prior art, freedom-to-operate, and competitive overlap. Findings are AI-generated and source-traced — every quoted passage links to its primary source. Iusora is not a substitute for the professional judgment of a patent attorney or agent. Always verify findings before legal use.

3. Account

You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your magic-link session secure. We use Magic.link for passwordless authentication and never store passwords on our servers. See [Privacy](/legal/privacy) for full data handling.

4. SaaS subscription terms

Self-Serve plan: €99/month for 20 patent investigations / billing month. Auto-renews until cancelled.
Team plan: €499/month with seat allocation + extended retention.
Enterprise: bespoke pricing under written agreement.

A "patent investigation" = one /v1/novelty, /v1/invalidation, /v1/fto, or /v1/competitive-mapping run against a target patent identifier. Quota resets at the start of each billing month. Unused investigations do not roll over.

5. Fair use policy

Don't use Iusora to: (a) circumvent intellectual property rights of others, (b) submit malware or adversarial content designed to break our quorum routing, (c) scrape Iusora at scale or operate automated batch jobs against the platform without a separate written agreement, (d) train competing models on Iusora outputs.

Automated batch scraping triggers throttling at IP + account level. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that exceed 30 requests per minute or sustained 60+ requests per hour without a written exception.

6. Refund policy

Pro-rata refunds are available within 14 days of the initial subscription start under EU Distance Selling rules (Directive 2011/83/EU). After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion and limited to unused billing months. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — your access continues until then.

7. Service availability disclaimer

Iusora is provided on a "reasonable best efforts" basis. We target 99.9% monthly uptime (rolling 90-day window) but do not contractually guarantee it for Self-Serve plans. Team + Enterprise plans may negotiate a written SLA.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iusora is provided "as is" without warranty. Floor No. 8 SRL's liability is capped at the fees paid in the preceding 12 months. This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded under EU consumer protection law (e.g. for personal injury, intentional misconduct, or gross negligence).

9. Governing law + venue

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are resolved in the courts of București, Romania, except where EU consumer law grants you the right to bring suit in your jurisdiction of residence.

10. Acceptable use enforcement

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach (defined as: §5 fair-use violations, billing fraud, attempts to compromise platform security). For Self-Serve and Team plans, we give 7 days' written notice except in cases of immediate harm.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days' notice via email + in-app banner. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you reject the updated Terms, you may cancel with a pro-rata refund of the unused period.
